North American Innovation Advisory Board
Roundtable discussions with education leaders
The North American Innovation Advisory Board (IAB) brings educational leaders together to share big-picture ideas, experiences and practical wisdom. The board’s aim is to mobilize collective intelligence of school and district leaders to improve schooling experiences for all.
Roundtable discussions were designed to give leaders the precious space, time, and safety to reflect together, to consider profound questions, and inform new directions for education innovation.
Research Process
In December 2021, the IAB hosted roundtable discussions with school and district leaders from Canada and the U.S. to explore key education challenges. Each 1.5-hour session focused on pre-shared questions, encouraged diverse perspectives, and was facilitated to promote open and reflective dialogue. Insights were analyzed to identify themes and innovation ideas. Based on this research, IAB meetings are now organized into cohorts, with each cohort meeting quarterly to discuss a specific theme, fostering continuous collaboration and innovation.
